  • The Amalfi Drive (SS163) is narrow with tight bends and buses; drive slowly, avoid driving after dark, and check for alternate-plate or ZTL traffic restrictions in town centres.
  • Parking in Positano, Amalfi and Ravello is scarce and costly; book garages ahead or use SITA buses and ferries for some legs.
  • Vesuvius crater access requires a timed online ticket; Sentiero degli Dei needs good shoes and should be skipped in rain.
  • Opening hours for Grotta dello Smeraldo, Bagni della Regina Giovanna access, Castello di Arechi and restaurants vary; verify locally and book La Sponda and Amalfi Lemon Experience ahead.
